| Resumen: | This document establishes a procedure for the determination of the content of humectants such as glycerol, 1,2-propylene glycol, and sorbitol in tobacco and tobacco products using high-performance liquid chromatography. The procedure is applicable for contents above 0.3 g per 100 g of dry matter. Using the method described in this standard, the contents of glucose, fructose, and sucrose in tobacco and tobacco products can be simultaneously determined according to DIN 10371. |
