| Resumen: | This standard specifies requirements for the manufacture of prefabricated load-bearing and/or space-enclosing building products in the form of wall, ceiling and roof elements, e. g. panel elements for timber houses in panel design, hereinafter also referred to as "prefabricated elements". These consist of ribs in the form of rod-shaped components made of wood products, as well as planking or cladding on one or both sides. They are intended for use in service class 1 or 2 according to DIN EN 1995 11. The planking or cladding is bonded to the rod-shaped components or connected by mechanical fasteners. Elements may contain openings. Elements may contain other components, such as windows, doors, and electrical and plumbing installations, but these are not subject to evaluation and verification of compliance in accordance with this standard. Elements may be insulated or uninsulated and may contain sheeting or membranes. The exterior surfaces of the elements may also have insulation. This standard specifies requirements for the components and for the manufacture of the elements and provides guidance on the execution and supervision of prefabricated wall, ceiling and roof elements The use of flame retardants and wood preservatives is not covered by this standard. The construction of the elements regulated here can result from various documents, such as the stability certificate, the fire protection certificate, the works planning, general building inspection test certificates or general type approvals. The review of these documents is not the subject of this standard. Compliance with the specifications made there with regard to the structure of the elements is the subject of this standard |
