| Resumen: | This document specifies dimensions, designs and materials of screwed pipe connections with o-ring for hygienic applications in the food industry, for butt welding of pipes with dimensions according to DIN 11866 and DIN EN 10357, Series A and C. The nut is specified in DIN 11851. The screwed pipe connections are designed for the following allowable pressures: - outside diameter of pipe from 12,7 mm to 41,0 mm: 4,0 MPa (40 bar); - outside diameter of pipe from 42,4 mm to 104,0 mm: 2,5 MPa (25 bar). If used with appropriate materials for the gasket, these pressures can be used with temperatures from -10 °C to +140 °C. |
