| Resumen: | The elements of design of this standard shall enable architects, designers and administration to construct fire stations due to the requirements of fire fighting technology. The room design, features, dimensions and guidelines indicated are intended to serve as elements for design from which choices have to be made depending on the local situation. The place of a fire station has to be chosen with regard to all tactical consideration (e. g. rescue period, traffic connection, urban development). The building plot intended for the fire station has to be suitable for construction with regard to its location, form, dimension, altitude and quality and allow for extensions to be made. |
