| Resumen: | This document provides guidance on the consideration of sound insulation in urban planning. It is addressed to municipalities, urban planners, architects and building supervisory authorities. It does not apply to the application in licensing and planning approval procedures, nor to the proof of compliance with requirements of technical regulations. The determination of the sound immissions of the different types of sound sources is only presented here in a very simplified way. For the exact calculation, please refer to the relevant legal provisions and regulations. For the estimation of the expected sound immissions from road, rail and ship traffic, diagrams are given in Annex B. These are limited to the most important noise sources. These are calculated according to the applicable regulations, limiting them to the most important parameters. DIN 18005 Beiblatt 1 specifies acoustic orientation values as targets for urban planning. The latest edition of DIN 45682 applies to the mapping of sound immissions. In this document, all levels are A-weighted and are given in dB. |
