| Resumen: | This standard specifies methods and procedures for investigating soil contamination on shooting ranges for civil purposes. It does not lay down a single step-by-step procedure but gives several options in the form of combinable modules to investigate soil contamination on an individual case by case basis. The methods according to this standard are applicable to open shooting ranges for shotguns, especially trap, skeet and parkour ranges. In addition the document specifies the deposition areas for ranges with moving ground targets as well as for open and partly closed ranges for single projectile cartridges. The specifications in the standard can be applied to shooting ranges that have been closed down and/or abandoned. |
