| Resumen: | This standard specifies requirements and tests of gaskets for socket joints in ductile iron or steel pipelines. Furthermore, it contains information on the quality assurance of these components, which is intended to ensure that the conformity of the manufactured components with the requirements of this test specification is also given. This document applies to gaskets of socket joints in pipelines in drinking water supply made of ductile cast iron or steel. This standard also specifies requirements and tests relating to the retaining segments contained in gaskets for restrained joints. |
