| Resumen: | This document is applicable to steel cord and textile conveyor belts. The purpose of this document is to specify a method for determining fatigue strengths under dynamic fatigue loading. The reference fatigue strength determined in accordance with this method on rotating conveyor belt specimens is a measure of the stressability of the conveyor belt. It depends in particular on the structure of the conveyor belt splice, on the materials used there and on the workmanship. The method is intended to provide reproducible fatigue strength values in a simple and fast way and thus enable the comparative assessment of conveyor belts and conveyor belt splices with regard to their dynamic stressability. |
