| Resumen: | This Supplement shall primarily help planners when designing the radiation shielding. This supplement applies to rooms (hot cells) surrounded by concrete shieldings intended for use in the remote handling of radioactive materials. They can be either plants for experimental purposes (for instance for the development of materials) or plants related to production sources, reprocessing of nuclear fuel or treatment of radioactive waste. The committee responsible for this document is NA 062-07-62 AA "Strahlenschutzeinrichtungen" ("Radiation protection") at DIN. |
