| Resumen: | This standard methods for the determination of the density, and the contributions of open and closed porosity of sintered UO<(Index)2> tablets. They can also be applied for unsintered tablets, or tablets of UO<(Index)2>-PuO<(Index)2> or UO<(Index)2>-Gd<(Index)2>O<(Index)3>. The volumes of the tablets, and of its open and closed porosity is determined by measurement of its mass when dry, after impregnation in air, and while submersed in the impregnation liquid. |
