| Resumen: | This document specifies functional properties of coatings with microencapsulated adhesives (MK coatings) applied as precoatings to uncoated or coated screws made of steel or stainless steel. It specifies a suitability test of MK coatings on a defined reference screw and a system test of screws with MK coatings, in each case at room temperature and at elevated temperatures. This document applies to bolts with - metric ISO thread according to DIN ISO 261, - nominal thread diameters from M3 to M39 (standard thread), - nominal thread diameters from 8 mm to 39 mm (fine thread), - strength classes according to DIN EN ISO 898-1, DIN EN ISO 3506-1 and DIN 267-13, - bright and coated surfaces, - application temperature range from -50 °C to 100 °C and up to 150 °C depending on application specifications. |
