| Resumen: | This standard specifies dimensions and designations of shaft ends to accommodate stirrers made of unalloyed and stainless steel, e. g. stirrers according to DIN 28131. The shaft ends are designed for seals with stuffing box according to DIN 28163. NOTE 1 Sealing systems with stuffing box packings are used less and less. DIN 28163:1983 10 has been withdrawn since 2011-02. In order to ensure the documentation in case of repair of existing sealing systems with gland packings, the reference to the withdrawn standard DIN 28163 was retained within the revision of DIN 28156. NOTE 2 Historical DIN standards can be obtained from DIN Media. |
