| Resumen: | This standard specifies the requirements and tests for sealing profiles made of monoaxially expanded polytetrafluoroethylene (ePTFE), which are used to seal freely accessible flange connections in gas installations in which gases are treated according to the DVGW Arbeitsblatt G 260 (except for LPG in liquid phase) with operating pressures up to 16 bar at operating temperatures of up to 50 °C. NOTE: PTFE threaded gaskets for the installation area are standardized in DIN EN 751-3.
