| Resumen: | This standard specifies the requirements and associated tests for field coating materials for product testing to be applied to metal surfaces of steel and cast-iron pipes with thick coatings on the construction site by means of welding pipes, sleeves or flanges, connected pipes, fittings and fittings. The present version of DIN 30672-1 not only covers the areas of application which are not covered by DIN EN ISO 21809-3 but also takes into account the current state of the art. With the appearance of DIN EN ISO 21809-3, a regulation gap has been created for steel pipes of the water and gas supply. DIN EN ISO 21809-3 is both a product standard and an application standard for applying field coatings. With DIN EN ISO 21809-3, the clear separation between product standardization and application standardization for field coating is abandoned. Furthermore, not all application areas, in particular those of the distribution networks, are taken into account. |
