| Resumen: | This standard specifies the requirements and the associated tests for field coating repairs on the construction site, which are applied to metallic surfaces of steel and cast-iron pipes. The present version of DIN 30672-2 covers not only the areas of application, which are not covered by DIN EN ISO 21809-3, but also takes into account the current state of the art. With the publication of DIN EN ISO 21809-3, a regulation gap has been created for steel pipes, the water and gas supply. DIN EN ISO 21809-3 is both a product standard and an application standard for applying field coatings. With DIN EN ISO 21809-3, the clear separation between product standardization and application standardization for field coatings is abandoned. Furthermore, not all application areas, in particular the distribution networks, are taken into account. |
