| Resumen: | This standard only applies with DIN EN 1917 and DIN 4034-101 to circular prefabricated manholes made of concrete, steel fibre concrete and reinforced concrete with the nominal diameters DN 800, DN 1000, DN 1200, DN 1500 and DN 2000. It also applies prefabricated manholes with deviating nominal diameters and with cross-sections other than circular. It specifies supplementary requirements and associated test methods for prefabricated concrete and reinforced concrete manholes in the scope of DIN EN 1917, designated as Type 1, on which no agreement could be achieved at the time of publication of the European Standard (see DIN EN 1917:2003, Table 1). For prefabricated concrete and reinforced concrete manholes, which are exposed to chemical moderate environment and designated as type 2, this document specifies additional requirements and associated testing procedures. Specifications for the assessment of conformity are contained in DIN 4034-101. |
