| Resumen: | This standard specifies the test method for assessing the strength and deformation behavior under tensile stress of cellular metals, such as e. g. metal sponges, metal foams and hollow sphere structures, solid. It is applicable to cellular metals with a porosity greater than 50%. The properties that are determined according to this standard are the stress / strain behavior and the characteristic values that can be determined from it. For core compounds (sandwiches) the DIN 53292 standard should be applied. |
