| Resumen: | This document specifies a method for calculating the percentage of free, chemically unreacted lithium hydroxide and lithium carbonate in lubricating greases manufactured with lithium hydroxide monohydrate. The method cannot be used for lubricating greases which contain other metal soap thickeners in addition to lithium soap thickeners or for which the conditions for the chemical formation of lithium soap thickeners from lithium hydroxide were not created during production. |
