| Resumen: | This document describes the minimum-requirements concerning scope and verification of characteristic parameters for electro-magnetic ordnance detectors. Part 1 of this standard describes the requirements for ordnance detectors common for the detection of ferrous objects, primarily defined by the shell of the ordnance. It provides guidelines for fluxgate based vertical-gradient-magnetometers, triple-axis-magnetometers and triple-axis-gradient-magnetometers. In this standard defined parameters including their verification by manufacturer or user will provide a characteristic description of the detector, that will allow third parties to decide about the applicability of the detector. |
