Involute splines based on reference diameters - Part 1: Generalities

| Resumen: | This document is applicable to spline connections with involute spline flanks and reference diameters for detachable, sliding or fixed connection of shaft and hub and specifies the following principles: a) Uniform pressure angle 30°; b) the same reference profile for all pitches, therefore a uniform formation law for all profiles; c) flank centring. Diameter centring in exceptional cases; d) Use of profile offsets to achieve certain reference diameters; e) the fitting system contains tolerances for the effective form deviations so that their influence on the fit clearance is taken into account. All requirements are taken into account by the possible choice of different dimension series and tolerance classes. |
