Resumen:	This standard specifies a test method for the determination of temperature retention capacity (thermal performance) in the useful volume of packagings and packaging systems when they are exposed to constant ambient temperatures and variable ambient temperatures, respectively. T'he test method is not intended for the determination of thermodynamic parameter of the packaging material such as, for example, the thermal transmission coefficient. This standard describes a test method. Concrete performance requirements, i.e. temperature profiles of the environment and permitted internal temperatures for a defined time period are not part of this standard.
