| Resumen: | This standard is a supplement to DIN EN 1677-1:2009-03. It specifies requirements for chain shortness (shortening claws, shortening hooks), as DIN EN 1677-1 only contains general basic requirements for chain components and no information on the specific requirements relating to chain shorteners. Clauses 4 and 5 of this standard provide safety specifications as defined by the law on equipment and product safety (Geräte- und Produktsicherheitsgesetzt - GPSG), see explanatory notes. |
