| Resumen: | This standard specifies a test method to assess the applicability of lubricating greases according DIN 58396-2 with evaporation loss. Evaporated grease can influence the functionality of optical and electrical components after condensation on optical processing machines. This test method can also be used to specify lubricating grease changes (drying-out) due to evaporation loss. Precision mechanical and optical devices can mainly use onyl small amounts of lubricating grease, at the same time only a lifetime lubrication is possible, relubrication requires complex and time consuming maintenance work respectively, so that long lubrication terms are needed. |
