Resumen:	The document is applicable to the determination of the factor VII coagulant activity in plasma by using the one-stage method; however, it is not applicable to factor VII concentrates. The purpose of this standard is to achieve comparable results for the factor VII C content in a given plasma sample. Essential precondtions for achieving this objective are a standardized procedure for calibration of the method, as well as the use of reference plasmas with a declared factor VII C proportion which has been determined by calibration against the International Standard of WHO (plasma) for factor VII C which is valid at the time of use. Das Dokument gilt für die Bestimmung der Faktor VII-Gerinnungsaktivität mit der Einstufenmethode in Plasma, jedoch nicht in Faktor VII-Konzentraten. Zweck des Dokuments ist die Ermittlung vergleichbarer Ergebnisse des Faktor VII C-Gehaltes in einer Plasmaprobe. Dabei ist ein einheitliches Vorgehen bei der Kalibrierung der Methode sowie die Verwendung von Referenzplasmen mit deklariertem Faktor VII C-Anteil, der durch Kalibrierung am jeweils gültigen Internationalen Standard der WHO (Plasma) für Faktor VII ermittelt wurde, unerläßliche Voraussetzung.
