| Resumen: | This document defines specifications for the determination of WATER ENERGY DOSIS and WATER ENERGY DOSIS PERFORMANCE in water with open air-filled ionization chambers according to the probe method in dose measurements for teletherapy a) with 60Co gamma radiation, b) with high-energy photon radiation from clinical linear accelerators with balancing filters with effective acceleration voltages in the range of 3 MV to 25 MV and field sizes of at least 4 cm × 4 cm, c) with high-energy photon radiation from clinical linear accelerators without balancing filters (so-called "flattening filter free beams") with effective acceleration voltages in the range of 3 MV to 10 MV and field sizes of at least 4 cm × 4 cm, d) with electron radiation from clinical linear accelerators with energies in the range of 4MeV to 25 MeV and field sizes of at least 6 cm × 6 cm. Dose measurements in the presence of magnetic fields as used for MR imaging (MRI linacs) and in radiation fields with ultra-high pulse dose rates (FLASH radiation therapy) are not covered in this document. |
