| Resumen: | The standard specifies methods for the dosimetry in the field of photon brachytherapy, focused at manufacturer and responsible organisation. The purpose of the standard is to define recommended procedures for measuring the reference air kerma rate on a radiator and for the calculation of the absorbed dose to water at dose calculation points in a quasi-infinite water phantom for the practice of photon brachytherapy (BT) with high-energy BT photons (HE photons) and low-energy BT photons (LE photons). |
