Pressure resistant circular glass-to-metal fused sight glasses for holders with recess

| Resumen: | This document is to be used for round, metal-fused sightglasses in which the sightglass is fused into a steel ring. These can be used in flange mountings to DIN 28120 (force main) or in flow sight glasses to DIN 11869. The installation dimensions of the sightglass plates according to this document correspond to the dimensions according to DIN 7080 . Round, metal-fused sightglass plates according to this document also fit into round sightglasses with mountings according to DIN 28121 (force shunt). In particular, DIN 28121:2021-04, clause 4.4 must be considered. When used within the scope of the Pressure Equipment Directive (Directive 2014/68/EU), these must be considered as a component of the pressure equipment. The area of use of the sight glass plate must be within the area of use of the pressure equipment. |
