| Resumen: | Part 4 of DIN 71460 describes a conditioning procedure for determining the minimum fractional efficiency. It is intended for use in conjunction with DIN 71460-1 and contains the requirements for the test equipment and the test procedure. This part applies to filter elements used in motor vehicles for the reduction of particulate and gaseous air pollutants and the corresponding filter media. In conjunction with Part 1, the test procedure after conditioning of cabin air filters for motor vehicles is specified, which is intended to allow the selection and comparability of filter elements under laboratory conditions. |
