| Resumen: | This document gives guidelines to increase the level of automation in automotive wiring-harness production. These guidelines are mainly provided in the form of design rules. To increase the degree of automation, the requirements and specifications of the design rules, which are defined as rules, should be fulfilled during the wiring-harness development and wiring-harness production. With compliance to the design rules and with automated production, further recommendations are made. This document provides design rules for wiring harnesses and their components as well as for the wiring harness structure and addresses the scope of low-voltage and high-voltage wiring harnesses for power and data transmission. This document provides requirements for the digital data describing the product and gives guidelines for the implementation of the requirements for applied data formats. |
