| Resumen: | This document applies to electric motor-driven lifting devices whose main drive element is an electric tubular motor with a serviceability rating in accordance with DIN EN 14202. They are designed for guided lifting in bearing condition, holding in bearing condition and guided lowering in operating condition for standardized gymnastic and playground equipment installed in halls (Class A). DIN EN 14492 2:2019-09 (Class B) applies to all other electric motor-driven lifting devices whose main drive element is not an electric tubular motor, or a hydraulic, or pneumatic motor, as well as to non-guided lifting movements, or gymnastic and playground equipment freely suspended in storage condition. This document is not applicable to hand-operated lifting devices, such as hand crank-driven or counterbalanced lifting devices. This document is not applicable to parts of the framework of the lifting or safety device, its suspension or its attachment points, and devices for equipment adjustment and/or the gymnastics and playground equipment itself.
