| Resumen: | This standard applies to plugs which are preferably used in ships. They consist of a casing with union nut and a contact insert according to DIN 89320. The cable inlet is carried out with a cable screw bushing according to DIN 89283. The plugs are intended for electrical installations with operating voltages up to 250 V and designed for the connection of two- and three-wire electrical cables, e. g. rubber-sheathed cable H07RN F according to DIN EN 50525-2-21 (VDE 0285-525-2-21) or similar cable designs with insulated wires with a nominal cross-section up to 2,5 mm<(hoch)2> The two types with rated voltages up to and including 150 V and exceeding 150 V up to 250 V allow the use of two operating voltage systems on one ship. Suitable socket-outlets are described in DIN 89262 and DIN 89263, a suitable coupling socket-outlet in DIN 89266. |
