| Resumen: | This document contains requirements for fire limitation blankets used for electric vehicles. Fire limitation blankets are designed to limit the development of a fire and reduce damage, for example by containing the spread of heat, smoke and flames. Fire limitation blankets are primarily intended for use by instructed personnel and are used before a fire starts. Fire limitation blankets according to this document are intended for use on electric vehicles and are not intended for direct use on a removed and opened traction battery. |
