| Resumen: | The document specifies two methods for determining the air content of fresh mortars including those containing mineral binders and normal, as well as light weight aggregates: A "The pressure method" and B "The alcohol method". The pressure method is applicable for mortars with air content up to 20 %. For higher air contents the method gives results with less accuracy. The alcohol method covers the whole range of air contents with sufficient accuracy. |
