| Resumen: | DIN EN 1332-1 specifies the design principles for the operation of machine readable cards (including the symbols) which have to be taken into consideration in the design of card-operated equipment. Machine readable cards facilitate the provision of a growing variety of services across Europe. The purpose of the series DIN EN 1332 is to increase the accessibility of these services for the benefit of all users of the system. Other parts of the series DIN EN 1332 describe e. g. a standard layout for the keypads of card-operated equipment and the coding of user requirements for people with special needs. |
