| Resumen: | This document specifies the procedure for classifying the fire resistance of construction products and components used as part of building services installations in buildings. The results of fire resistance tests that fall within the direct scope of the relevant test procedure are used. Classification based on the extended scope of test results is also covered in this document. Construction products or components for use in ventilation systems (with the exception of smoke control systems) include: - fire-resistant ventilation ducts; - fire dampers. Construction products or components for use in or as cable systems: - unprotected electrical cables and wires with their own fire protection properties; - fire protection systems for cable systems and associated components. Relevant test methods developed for these construction products/components are listed in Clause 2. |
