| Resumen: | The document specifies a method for the identification of aggregates with high moisture sensitivity. The aggregat under test is mixed with cement and water and cast into prisms of specified dimensions. The prisms are subjected to wetting followed by drying at 110 °C and the change in length from the wet the dry state is determined. The drying shrinkage of the aggregate is quoted as average change in length of the prisms as percentage of their final dry lengths. |
