| Resumen: | This document specifies requirements for the design, installation, testing and maintenance of all types of fixed water mist systems. This document is applicable to water mist systems with automatic nozzles and to water mist systems with open nozzles supplied by a stand-alone system or pump system. The document only considers applications and occupancies covered by the fire test protocols of the EN 14972 series. Aspects of water mist relating to explosion protection and/or use within vehicles are outside the scope of this document. This document does not cover all legal requirements. In some countries, specific national directives apply which take precedence over this document. Users of this document are advised to check the applicability or non-applicability of this document with their national competent authorities. |
