| Resumen: | This standard specifies safety and design requirements of side loaded refuse collection vehicles (RCV). This document deals with all significant hazards, hazardous situations and events relevant to the side loaded RCV, when it is used as intended and under conditions of misuse which are reasonably foreseeable by the manufacturer, throughout its foreseeable lifetime. This document is applicable to the design and construction of the side loaded RCV so as to ensure that it is fit for its intended function and can be operated, cleaned, adjusted and maintained during its entire lifetime. This document (EN 1501-2:2021) has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 183 "Waste Management", the secretariat of which is held by DIN. |
