| Resumen: | This standard is a tool to be used by any person, working with stakeholders, who wants to define, design, develop or buy a product or process or system to meet their needs. It is primarily concerned with defining those needs in such a way that it initiates an effective design and development process that meets stakeholder needs. The tool is made up of three parts, Functional Needs Analysis, Functional Needs Expression and Functional Performance Specification.This document describes the methods and tools that are most generally used to carry out these activities. It is complemented by appendices that give application recommendations.This standard builds upon the concepts and methods to be found in standard EN 12973. |
