| Resumen: | This standard defines the design, dimensions and technical requirements for connections for the transfer of potable water for inland navigation vessels. These are: the supplier side fixed connection piece; assembled hose; the consumer side fixed connection piece; a connection for retrofitting inland navigation vessels that have a deck-level lid (inside thread of pipe according to EN ISO 228-1), consisting of an adapter with threaded sockets and fixed coupling. Necessary measures to prevent electrostatic charging and overfilling are not regulated by this standard. Potable water supply systems have to fulfill national regulations. Requirements of this standard complement these regulations. |
