| Resumen: | This European Standard specifies the safety and EMC requirements, test methods relating to personal light electric vehicles : without any seating position and/or; electrically power assisted vehicles and/or; self-balancing vehicles with or without seating position; which are intended for use on public and/or private spaces and intended primarily for the transportation of one person in urban environment. Note: Use can be subject to local regulations. This European Standard is intended to cover all common significant hazards, hazardous situations and events of PLEV, when used as intended and under condition of misuse that are reasonably foreseeable by the manufacturer. This standard does not apply to: vehicles that are considered as toys; vehicles intended for competition; electrically powered assisted cycle (EPAC); medical devices and medical vehicles; electric vehicles having a maximum speed above 25 Km/h; vehicles having a rated voltage of more than 50 V for alternating current or 75 V for direct current. |
