| Resumen: | This document, intended to be used together with EN ISO 4254-1:2015 including its amendment EN ISO 4254-1:2015/A1:2021, specifies the safety requirements and their verification for the design and construction of compact carriers. When provisions of this document are different from those which are stated in EN ISO 4254-1:2015 including its amendment EN ISO 4254-1:2015/A1:2021, the provisions of this document take precedence over the provisions of EN ISO 4254-1:2015 including its amendment EN ISO 4254-1:2015/A1:2021 for machines that have been designed and built according to the provisions of this document. While this document does not deal with the design and construction of interchangeable equipment, requirements in this document also address hazards which can occur from the combination of compact carriers with interchangeable equipment as per multiple uses intended by the manufacturer of the compact carrier. |
