| Resumen: | The document harmonizes the standardisation of symmetrical, coaxial and optical cables used for the infrastructure of communication, mulitmedia and control networks. Most of the cables are primarily intended to be used in IT networks. However they can be used for other applications with the exception of those which presume a direct connection to the mains electricity supply. Das Dokument harmonisiert die Normung symmetrischer, koaxialer und optischer Kabel, welche für die Infrastruktur von Kommunikations-, Multimedia- und Steuerungsanlagen eingesetzt werden. Der vorwiegende Teil der beschriebenen Kabel wird vorzugsweise in Netzwerken der Informationstechnik (IT) eingesetzt. Sie können jedoch auch für andere Anwendungen verwendet werden, mit Ausnahme von Anwendungen, welche eine direkte Verbindung an die elektrische Netzversorgung erfordern. |
