Resumen:	The purpose of this part of IEC 61300 is to assess the corrosive effects of atmospheres polluted with mixed gas on fibre optic devices. It can be considered as a general corrosion test, but it does not predict the performance of a device in use. Der Zweck dieses Teils von IEC 61300 ist die Bewertung der korrosiven Wirkung von mit Mischgas verunreinigten Atmosphären auf Lichtwellenleiterbauteile. Er kann als allgemeine Korrosionsprüfung angesehen werden, sagt aber nicht das Betriebsverhalten eines verwendeten Bauteils voraus.
