Resumen:	This part of IEC 61300 provides methods for measuring the polarisation extinction ratio (PER) of single-mode, polarisation-maintaining (PM) optical components based upon PM fibres. This document also provides methods for detecting the input and output orientation of the PM components´ principal axes as well as methods for estimating the keying accuracy i.e. the angular misalignment between the principal axes and the mechanical reference key of the connectors, if these are present. Dieser Teil von IEC 61300 legt Verfahren zur Messung des Polarisationsextinktionsverhältnisses (PER) von polarisationserhaltenden Einmoden-LWL-Bauteilen fest, die auf polarisationserhaltenden Fasern basieren. Dieses Dokument legt auch Verfahren fest zur Feststellung der Eingangs- und Ausgangsrichtung der Hauptachsen von polarisationserhaltenden Bauteilen sowie Verfahren zur Schätzung der Genauigkeit der Außenzentrierung, d. h. dem Winkelversatz zwischen den Hauptachsen und der mechanischen Bezugsführung der Steckverbinder, sofern diese vorhanden sind.
