| Resumen: | This part of IEC 61755 defines dimensional limits of an optical connector with a 2,5 mm and a 1,25 mm diameter cylindrical composite ferrule using titanium as fibre surrounding material for optical interface to meet specific requirements for PC fibre-to-fibre interconnection as defined in IEC 61755-2-1. The composite ferrule uses different materials in the end-face contact zone and in ferrule to sleeve contact zone. The specified materials for each zone are zirconia (ZrO2) for the ferrule to sleeve contact zone and titanium for the end-face contact zone. Ferrules made from the material specified in this standard are suitable for use in all operating service environments categories defined in IEC 61753-1. Dieser Teil der Norm IEC 61755 definiert die Maßtoleranzen eines optischen Steckverbinders mit einer zylindrischen Verbundferrule mit einem Durchmesser von 2,5 mm und 1,25 mm, bei dem Titan als Fasermaterial für die optische Schnittstelle verwendet wird, um die spezifischen Anforderungen für PC-Faser-zu-Faser-Verbindungen gemäß IEC 61755-2-1 zu erfüllen. Die Verbundferrule verwendet unterschiedliche Materialien in der Endflächenkontaktzone und in der Kontaktzone zwischen Ferrule und Hülse. Die für jede Zone spezifizierten Materialien sind Zirkonoxid (ZrO2) für die Kontaktzone zwischen Ferrule und Hülse und Titan für die Endflächenkontaktzone. Ferrulen aus dem in dieser Norm spezifizierten Material sind für den Einsatz in allen in IEC 61753-1 definierten Betriebsumgebungskategorien geeignet. |
