| Resumen: | This document contains changes to the five characters of the hull identification number assigned by the manufacturer. The term "unique" as used in the published document creates a misunderstanding with some authorities', believing that the 5 characters within the CIN that are assigned by the craft manufacturer can only be used once in a lifetime. This is not the case, as many craft manufacturers reuse the 5 characters each model year. The entire CIN is unique based on the assigned MIC, the month/year of manufacture and model year of the craft, thus each CIN is not duplicated and is unique. Dieses Dokument enthält Änderungen bezüglich der fünf Zeichen der Schiffskörper-Identifizierungsnummer, die vom Hersteller vergeben werden. Im Dokument wurde der Begriff "einmalig" verwendet und führte bei einigen Behörden zu dem Missverständnis, dass angenommen wurde, dass diese fünf Zeichen nur einmalig verwendet werden können. Da die gesamte Schiffskörper-Identifizierungsnummer auf der zugewiesenen Identifikationsnummer des Herstellers, dem Monat/Jahr der Herstellung und Modelljahr des Fahrzeugs basiert, ist sie eindeutig. |
