| Resumen: | This document specifies technical requirements for steel cut wire shot abrasives in 13 kinds of specifications and grades including hardness, apparent density, defect, metallographic structure and chemical composition.This part is suitable for steel cut wire shot supplied for blast-cleaning processes which is made by cutting cold drawn wire.The requirements specified in this document apply to abrasives supplied in the "new" condition only. They do not apply to abrasives either during or after use. Test methods for metallic blast-cleaning are given in the various parts ISO 11125. Steel cut wire shot is recyclable and reusable abrasives, and it can be applied for both fixed and fieldspray equipment. |
