| Resumen: | The method for the determination of the sound insulation performance of enclosures under in-situ conditions is standardised. The measurements can be carried out using either the machine to be enclosed as the sound source, or using an artifical sound source. The sound insulation is given as either sound pressure or sound power insulation. It applies to complete enclosures only (not their constituent parts). |
