| Resumen: | This document specifies test methods, performance requirements and design parameters for clothing for protection against heat and flame intended for drivers in automobile competitions. This document concerns outer garments, under garments, socks, gloves and balaclava. Shoes and helmets are excluded. The intent of this is to provide a standard for drivers of automobiles that do not fall within the scope of the FIA. The intent is to provide a similar level of protection as FIA 8856 |
